* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water begins to flow over the bridge on
Farm to Market Road 418. Water also begins to cover F.M. 418 at
several other locations. Road in Village Creek State Park begins
to have water across it.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 PM CDT Sunday was 22.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Tuesday evening and continue falling to 14.9 feet Friday
evening.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 26.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM CDT Sunday was 26.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain in a flat crest
between 26.5 and 26.7 feet for the next few days. It will
then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 20.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is in a flat crest near 20.2 feet, and
will begin a slow fall in the next few days.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
