...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Upshur, Smith, Wood and
Gregg Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Gladewater...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding with camps
and picnic areas near the river suffering some flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 27.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 AM CDT Monday was 28.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 16.8 feet Saturday
morning.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.3 feet on 03/16/1933.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Smith and Wood Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Mineola.

* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with
secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas
becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and
equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 AM CDT Monday was 16.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Thursday evening and continue falling to 13.3 feet
Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.8 feet on 03/24/2015.
