Wind chills dropping to zero to 5 below zero Wednesday night. * WHERE...Valdez. * WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Wind chills as low as 5 degrees below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...North to east winds will peak through tonight. As winds first develop, freshly fallen snow will easily blow around, leading to localized reductions in visibility along area roads. Winds will very slowly diminish Thursday through Friday.
