...ACCUMULATING SNOW AND PERIODS OF BLOWING SNOW FROM THOMPSON PASS NORTH ALONG THE RICHARDSON HIGHWAY TO MP 35 THIS MORNING THROUGH MONDAY... A frontal system moving through Prince William Sound will bring snow and gusty winds to Thompson Pass and along the Richardson Highway north of Thompson Pass to MP 35 through Monday. Expect the heaviest snow and strongest winds from mid to late Sunday morning through Sunday night. East-southeasterly winds may gust up to 35 to 40 mph during this time. The combination of snow and gusty winds may reduce visibility to as low as one mile or less at times. Snow showers are expected to persist through Monday along with occasional wind gusts up to 25 mph. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches are possible this morning through Monday evening.
