...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM SATURDAY TO NOON AKST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 9 and 18 inches. Up to 24 inches possible north of Talkeetna and through Broad Pass. * WHERE...Susitna Valley and Hatcher Pass. * WHEN...From 1 AM Saturday to noon AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is now initially expected to begin late tonight. There could be a break in heavier snowfall along and east of the Parks Highway Saturday morning. The heaviest snow is expected during the day Saturday for most of the Susitna Valley shifting to Hatcher Pass and the Talkeetna Mountains Saturday night. Snow will gradually end from southwest to northeast Sunday morning.
