...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...

Tombigbee River Near Leroy affecting Clarke and Washington
Counties.

For the Tombigbee River...including Coffeeville Dam, Coffeeville Dam
- upstream, Leroy...Minor flooding is forecast.

The next statement will be issued when updates occur.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands
begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground.
Water approaches low lying roads on west side of river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is N/A.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 24.3 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
begins to flood.

- At 9:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is N/A.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.0 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon.
