expected. For the Gale Warning, west winds 25 to 30 kt with
gusts up to 40 kt and seas 5 to 8 feet expected.

* WHERE...Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 20 nm.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 10 AM this morning
to 6 AM EST Tuesday. For the Gale Warning, from 6 AM Tuesday
to 6 AM EST Wednesday.

...PATCHY DENSE FOG OVER THE WATERS TONIGHT...

Patchy dense fog is being observed with visibilities between a
quarter of a mile and a mile. Visibilities are expected to improve
early this morning as rain moves through the area.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Reduce your speed, and
keep a lookout for other vessels, buoys, and breakwaters. Use
proper fog signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember
to use your radar and compass. If not equipped with radar, you
should consider seeking safe harbor.
