California...

Navarro River at Navarro affecting Mendocino County.

* WHAT...Flooding is currently ongoing.

* WHERE...Navarro River at Navarro.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM PST Wednesday the stage was 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14 feet early
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.4
feet on 10/24/2021.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such deep water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southwestern Mendocino County in northwestern California...

* WHEN...Until 400 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take
several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1051 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy
rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Mendocino County near Point
Arena, Flumeville, Stornetta, and Manchester.

Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County.

For the Russian River...including Hopland...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Russian River near Hopland.

* WHEN...Until this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flooding of Highway 222 near Ukiah.
Secondary roads in low-lying areas will be flooded in the Hopland,
Ukiah, and Talmage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 AM PST Wednesday the stage was 19.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 6:45 AM PST Wednesday was 19.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
this morning and continue falling to 4.2 feet early Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.2
feet on 01/31/1963.

higher ground.
