...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Palm Beach County through 815 PM EDT... At 726 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Juno Ridge to 11 miles east of Holey Land Wildlife Refuge. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... West Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, Palm Beach, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Springs, North Palm Beach, Lake Park, Atlantis, Haverhill, Cloud Lake, Loxahatchee NWR, President Donald J. Trump International Airport, Port Of Palm Beach, Golden Lakes, Loxahatchee Groves, and Lion Country Safari Park.
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the storm passes.
