...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CHST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet. * WHERE...North facing reefs of Yap and Chuuk. * WHEN...Until 6 AM ChST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A significant north-northeast swell will continue to generate hazardous surf of 8 to 10 feet along north facing reefs of Yap and Chuuk.
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
