* WHAT...Heat index values up to 110 expected.

* WHERE...In Florida, Baker, Bradford, and Union Counties. In
Georgia, Brantley, Northeastern Charlton, Pierce, Southern Ware,
Wayne, and Western Charlton Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 7 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Kings Ferry, or 7 miles northeast of Hilliard, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Kingsland, Hilliard, Folkston, Callahan, Kings Ferry, and
Nassau Village-Ratliff.
