Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Hancock, Des Moines,
Henderson and Lee Counties.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Iowa...

Cedar River near Conesville affecting Muscatine and Louisa
Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 21.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 17.8 feet Sunday,
April 19.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued bythis evening at 1100 PM CDT.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.4
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
