Mississippi River at Ill. City LD16 affecting Muscatine and Rock
Island Counties.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Rock Island LD15.

* WHEN...From late Monday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects sidewalks along the river at
Le Claire Park. Water also affects Credit Island Lane and Moline's
River Drive in the 4700 block.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Tuesday morning and continue rising to 16.1 feet
Friday, April 24. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Shore Drive and North Shore Drive in Moline west of the 27th
Street bridge. Water limits access to homes on South Shore Drive
east of the I-74 bridge. Water also affects portions of 60th
Street south of John Deere Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.5 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening and continue rising to a crest of 13.9 feet
Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
