For the Saint Joseph River Michigan...including Three Rivers,
Mottville, Elkhart IN, South Bend, Niles...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tippecanoe River above Winamac.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, The river is at flood stage. Some
residences begin to be affected by flood water and the Winamac
town park floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 10.2 feet early
Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Information:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
