...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue Thursday into
Thursday night. Some storms will produce excessive rainfall on soils
already saturated from previous rains, with continued runoff
concerns.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west
central Kansas, including the following counties, in central
Kansas, Ellis and Rush. In south central Kansas, Barber, Comanche,
Edwards, Kiowa, Pawnee, Pratt and Stafford. In southwest Kansas,
Clark, Finney, Ford, Grant, Gray, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman,
Kearny, Meade, Morton, Seward, Stanton and Stevens. In west
central Kansas, Lane, Ness, Scott and Trego.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches.
