* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 100 to
115 degrees expected today and Friday! Heat indices of 95-100+
degrees are expected on Saturday.

* WHERE...All of southern New England except the Cape and Islands.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a prolonged and dangerous heatwave
with little relief at night.
