...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Historic flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following
counties, Cheboygan and Emmet.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Historic flooding is occurring following recent heavy
rainfall and snowmelt. Roads and structures near lakes and rivers
will continue to see high water levels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 228 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area.
- Little to no additional rainfall expected through midweek.
Slow improvement expected as water levels slowly recede.
- Large portions of Emmet and Cheboygan counties.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
