...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following
counties, Cheboygan and Emmet.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Historic flooding is occurring following recent heavy
rainfall and snowmelt. Roads and structures near lakes and rivers
will continue to see high water levels and potential wash outs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1127 PM EDT, ongoing historic flooding is being
experienced across the area and will likely continue for the
next several days. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen
in the last several days, with additional rainfall
anticipated tonight, heaviest across Emmet County.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
