...The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Michigan...

Tahquamenon River near Paradise affecting Luce County.

.Rainfall has fallen over a deep primed snowpack this past week.
This has led to increased snowmelt, potentially bringing the river
heights to hazardous levels.

* WHAT...Elevated river levels caused by rain and snowmelt are
occurring and/or imminent.

* WHERE...Tahquamenon River near Paradise.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, The river exceeds bankfull stage
At 10.3 feet, The river is at the high water mark set in May of
1960. No known significant flooding impacts are known for river
heights at or below this stage

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 9.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.5 feet.
