...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Existing water from heavy rainfall last week is routing
through the streams, rivers and lakes. Water is gradually
receding, but is still flooding low lying areas, creeks, streams,
rivers, and lakes.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following
counties, Crawford, Kalkaska, Missaukee and Roscommon.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Several structures are
flooded. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many
areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1137 AM EDT, Flooding is already occurring in the warned
area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Houghton Lake, Prudenville, Moddersville, Moorestown, Higgins
Lake, Roscommon County Airport, Roscommon Township, North
Higgins Lake, South Higgins Lake, Falmouth, Vogel Center,
Merritt and Stittsville.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
