Mississippi River at Hannibal Clarksville Louisiana River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal. * WHEN...From Monday morning to Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, John Hay Recreation Area on east side (inside the Illinois Sny Levee) begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.5 feet early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
