...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PHILLIPS... FRANKLIN...PHELPS...KEARNEY...GOSPER...BUFFALO...EASTERN DAWSON... FURNAS AND HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CST... At 411 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Litchfield to near Bertrand to Cambridge. Movement was southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Arapahoe, Elm Creek, Bertrand, Loomis, Amherst, and Holbrook around 415 PM CST. Holdrege, Odessa, Pleasanton, Riverdale, and Edison around 420 PM CST. Kearney, Oxford, Funk, Atlanta, Hendley, and Poole around 425 PM CST. Beaver City and Hollinger around 430 PM CST. Other locations in the path of these storms include Axtell, Wilcox, Ragan, Minden, Gibbon, Stamford, Shelton, Orleans, Hildreth, Huntley, Alma, Upland, Heartwell and Norman. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 237 and 292.
