* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches.

* WHERE...Hamilton, Northern Fulton, and Northern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will bring scattered snow
showers and isolated snow squalls this afternoon into early this
evening. A brief period of lake effect snow will occur in the wake
of the front tonight before dropping south out of the advisory
area.

...HEAVY SNOW BAND...

HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility to
less than one mile.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 743 PM EST, a band of heavy snow was along
a line extending from Addison to near Springfield and moving east at
30 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Amsterdam, Gloversville, Glens Falls, Johnstown, Ilion, Herkimer,
Hudson Falls, Little Falls, Cobleskill, Warrensburg, Whitehall,
Canajoharie, Indian Lake, Fonda, Speculator, Lake George Village,
Glenville, Fort Edward, Mohawk, and Frankfort.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 22.
Interstate 90 between exits 27 and 30.
Interstate 87 between exits 16 and 26.
