DENSE FOG TO AFFECT THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH AT LEAST MONDAY MORNING


Areas Affected: Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal westward out to 10 NM; East Santa Barbara Channel from Pt. Conception to Pt. Mugu CA including Santa Cruz Island; Inner waters from Point Mugu to San Mateo Pt. CA including Santa Catalina and Anacapa Islands; Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal from 10 to 60 NM; Waters from Pt. Sal to Santa Cruz Island CA and westward 60 nm including San Miguel and Santa Rosa Islands; Outer waters from Santa Cruz Island to San Clemente Island to 60 NM offshore including San Nicolas and Santa Barbara Islands

...DENSE FOG TO AFFECT THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH AT LEAST MONDAY MORNING...

Mariners should be prepared for abrupt visibility under one
nautical mile due to a blanket of fog covering the entirety of
the coastal waters. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for
exposed rocks and other vessels, including large ships in the
shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and
consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable.
Conditions are anticipated to improve Monday morning, but the fog
may linger later into the early afternoon.
