It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Yellow River at Necedah. * WHEN...Until Thursday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT Saturday was 18.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4 feet Monday evening. ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT SATURDAY... Significant rainfall amounts over the last week or so have led to excessive runoff in the Lemonweir River basin. This runoff is expected to increase river flows over the rest of the week. Additional heavy rainfall is possible on Friday into Friday night, which will bring another chance of increased runoff into the Lemonweir River. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of central Wisconsin, including the following county, Juneau. * WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding of low- lying areas and several county roads in the warned area.
