...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...

Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County.

For the Biloxi River...including Lyman...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Biloxi River near Lyman.

* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Major flooding will occur in Retreat and
Riverland Village Subdivisions at the 16 foot stage. Homes on
lower Fisherman Trail will remain flooded and lower River Road
will be impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will continue rising to a crest of 16.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Information:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
