The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 730 PM MST.

* At 426 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Lake Pleasant, Castle Hot Springs, Coles Bay, Castle Creek Boat
Ramp, Cottonwood Day Use Area, Goose Bay, Humbug Bay, Casa Rosa and
Humbug.

Humbug Creek, Tiger Creek, Oak Creek, Castle Creek, French Creek,
Amazon Gulch, Cottonwood Creek, Buzzard Roost Creek, Bitter Creek,
Hassayampa River, Slim Jim Creek, Little Buckhorn Creek, Agua Fria
River, Whipsaw Creek, Sand Creek, Black Butte Wash, Banty Creek,
Ash Creek, Tussock Spring Creek, Buckhorn Creek and East Fork
Castle Creek.

Information: 
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
