...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT /MIDNIGHT MDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures and heat
index values around 100 to 110 degrees.

* WHERE...All of western and central North Dakota including the James
River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT /midnight MDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures will only fall into the 70s
tonight, providing little relief from the heat.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
