...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with afternoon temperatures as
high as 100 to 106 expected.

* WHERE...In Colorado, Central Yampa River Basin, Lower Yampa River
Basin, Debeque to Silt Corridor, and Grand Valley. In Utah,
Arches/Grand Flat and Eastern Uinta Basin.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Near record temperatures are possible
especially Sunday into Monday during the peak of this event.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
