* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Hoke County in central North Carolina...
Southeastern Richmond County in central North Carolina...
Scotland County in central North Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 729 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Laurinburg, Rockingham, Hamlet, Hoffman, Dobbins Heights, Wagram,
East Laurinburg, Camp Mackall, Sandhills Game Land, Bowmore and
East Rockingham.

Information: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
