...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CHST MONDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet. * WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Palau and Yap. * WHEN...Through 5 AM ChST Monday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf will quickly build along north and east facing reef, with surf of 9 to 12 feet expected. High surf conditions may continue into the Monday through Tuesday time frame, and this product may need to be extended with upcoming forecast packages.
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
