...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...

Wolf River at New London affecting Winnebago, Waupaca and Outagamie
Counties.

Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Shawano, Waupaca and Outagamie
Counties.

For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London, Lake
Poygan...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Wolf River at New London.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Widespread flooding of shoreline property
is occurring from the New London area to Lake Poygan. Water reaches
the top of the retaining wall in New London. At 12.1 feet, Water
reaches the bottom of the railroad bridge in New London. Flood
waters are spreading into portions of North Waters Street and East
River Avenue.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:30 AM CDT Sunday was 12.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 9.2 feet Sunday,
April 26.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
