river systems. Major flooding continues on the Muskegon River, with
minor to moderate flooding on certain sections of the Grand River
and other smaller rivers. One final round of rain moves through late
tonight and adds an additional one-half inch or so of rain to most
areas.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Muskegon River near Croton.

* WHEN...Until Friday, April 24.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Expect major flooding of 16 properties in
Devils Hole.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 12.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:15 AM EDT Friday was 12.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday evening and continue falling to 8.8 feet Friday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
