...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY TO 6 PM MST FRIDAY FOR GUSTY WINDS AND DRY CONDITIONS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 417, 418, AND 434... The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 6 PM MST Friday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 434, 417 and 418. * WIND...West to northwest winds 20 to 25 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH on Thursday. Stronger winds expected on Friday with gusts over 45 MPH possible. * HUMIDITY...15 to 20 percent. Poor overnight humidity recoveries are expected Thursday night. * HIGHEST THREAT...The most critical fire weather conditions are expected along the Interstate 80 corridor east of the Laramie Range into the southern Nebraska Panhandle. The driest conditions are expected here with some of the strongest winds. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
