Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Menominee, Marinette and Dickinson Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Michigan... Menominee River near Florence affecting Iron, Florence and Dickinson Counties. For the Menominee River...including Florence, Vulcan, Niagara, Menominee River at White Rapids Dam, Koss, McAllister...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Menominee River near Vulcan. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Structures along the river along Homestead Road and Sturgeon Way Road may start to be impacted by flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 16.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.2 feet early Monday morning.
