...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

Wabash River at Riverton, Terre Haute. Hutsonville Legacy Power
Plant Site and Montezuma.

.Multiple rounds of rainfall over the past week, totaling at least 2
to 4 inches, lead to minor lowland flooding along the middle to
lower Wabash River. The Wabash has crested and is falling at
Montezuma and Terre Haute and is nearing a crest at Hutsonville and
Riverton. Flooding will end at Montezuma and Terre Haute Monday and
at Riverton and Hutsonville by the middle of the week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana
side.  Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater.  Old Darwin
Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
in Illinois are impassable.  Low agricultural land floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday afternoon and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
