Snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour and localized snow accumulations ranging from 1 to 4 inches over lesser hit portions of the county to locally 4 to 8 inches expected in the hardest hit areas. * WHERE...Kankakee County. * WHEN...Until noon CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Untreated roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, may will become slick and hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow is often very localized, with conditions varying from safe to dangerous across just a few miles. Snow totals in the Winter Storm Warning area may vary considerably from one location to the next, with the highest totals expected near and east of Interstate 57.
