...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING TO SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

Mississippi River at Clarksville.

Mississippi River at Louisiana.

Mississippi River at Hannibal.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, John Hay Recreation Area on east side
(inside the Illinois Sny Levee) begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.8 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.5 feet early Wednesday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Information:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
