Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches, with locally heavier amounts in La Porte County. * WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Tuesday. The bulk of the snow will fall tonight with a lull expected by daybreak. Lake effect snow then redevelops in the afternoon and evening. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
