...HIGH SURF WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CHST FRIDAY... ...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Warning, dangerously large breaking
waves of 10 to 15 feet expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Warning, until 5 PM ChST Friday. For
the Coastal Flood Statement, through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. Breaking
waves  can sweep people off jetties and docks, and into
dangerous seas. Life-threatening swimming conditions and
significant beach erosion can be expected. Rip currents can
sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A significant pulse of trade swell has
continued to build today across the Marianas, reinforced by a
strong trade-wind surge behind the shear line. Surf remains
dangerous along east facing reefs. Surf will remain hazardous
along north and south facing reefs until Friday afternoon.

Information:
Everyone should remain out of the water due to life-threatening
surf conditions. Stay off of jetties, piers, and other waterside
infrastructure.
