...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday morning, as
conditions remain favorable for excessive rainfall and flooding
across he region.While the exact placement and timing of the
heaviest rainfall has varied from earlier expectations, the overall
forecast remains on track, with a moist and unstable pattern in
place.Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches per day, with
locally higher totals, are expected to continue today. With soils
becoming saturated and some rivers already running high, the risk of
flooding will increase through at least early Wednesday morning.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Puerto Rico, including the following areas,
Central Interior, Culebra, Eastern Interior, Mayaguez and
Vicinity, North Central, Northeast, Northwest, Ponce and Vicinity,
San Juan and Vicinity, Southeast, Southwest, Vieques and Western
Interior and Virgin Islands, including the following areas, St
Croix and St.Thomas...St. John...and Adjacent Islands.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood
with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches per day, with
locally higher totals, are expected to continue Today.
