* WHAT...Heat index values of 106 to 110 degrees expected.

* WHERE...Portions of the Eastern Florida Panhandle, Florida Big
Bend, and far Southwestern Georgia.

* WHEN...From noon EDT /11 AM CDT/ to 6 PM EDT /5 PM CDT/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may increase
potential for heat-related illnesses.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded and air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.
